Origin & Terroir
Vinca Jatirasa Coffee Farm is located in the highlands of Malang, East Java, at elevations between 1,200 and 1,500 meters above sea level. The farm sits within a volcanic landscape shaped by mineral rich soil and consistent mountain airflow. These conditions create a stable environment for slow and even cherry development.
The surrounding terrain is defined by gentle slopes and layered vegetation. Shade trees are integrated across the farm to regulate temperature and protect the plants from direct exposure. This natural structure helps maintain balance within the ecosystem.

Varieties & Cultivation
The farm cultivates several Arabica varieties including Typica, Bourbon, Line S, and Kartika. Each variety is planted in specific plots based on elevation and soil composition. This separation allows better control over growth cycles and harvesting.
Cultivation is carried out with a focus on long term soil health and plant stability. Organic inputs are used to maintain nutrient balance and improve structure. Regular pruning ensures that each tree remains productive and well maintained.

Processing & Craft
After harvest, cherries are sorted and directed into different processing methods. Vinca Jatirasa applies washed, honey, natural, and anaerobic techniques depending on the desired outcome. Each method is handled with controlled timing and careful observation.
Fermentation is closely monitored, typically ranging from 24 to 72 hours. Environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity are taken into account during this stage. Adjustments are made to maintain consistency across each lot.

Flavor & Expression
The final cup reflects the combined influence of origin, variety, and processing. Washed coffees tend to present clarity and brightness with structured acidity. Honey and natural methods introduce sweetness, body, and aromatic depth.
Flavor profiles vary across lots but remain consistent in balance. Notes often range from citrus and floral tones to cocoa and subtle spice. Each expression is shaped by both natural conditions and controlled processing.
